Who we are

A boutique insurance advisory firm built around premium financed life insurance

Most firms treat financed life insurance as one product among many. It is the centre of our practice — the discipline we have spent two decades building the team, the lender relationships, and the operating infrastructure to execute properly. We are the architects of each structure, working alongside your legal counsel, tax consultants, trustees and portfolio managers rather than around them.

Two ways to work with us

Choose the door that fits

For families and principals

Private Client

A highly personalised engagement for entrepreneurial families whose wealth is concentrated, illiquid, or tied to an operating business. We integrate business and family affairs into a single structure rather than solving for one at the expense of the other.

  • Funding solutions and complex insurance structures
  • Tax-efficient wealth transfer planning
  • Business succession and structural risk
  • Asset protection and alternative return streams

For advisors and professionals

Advisory Platform

We work with you — the advisor, attorney, CPA or family office — to consult on the design, structure, placement and ongoing management of a premium financed solution for your largest and most valued clients. Your relationship stays yours.

  • Case design, financed or cash-pay
  • Credit structuring across the full lender market
  • Underwriting and case management
  • Renewal monitoring and performance reporting

Why Simplicity Passerelle

Four things a client cannot easily assemble elsewhere

Premium finance is not difficult to sell. It is difficult to design conservatively, place efficiently, and then steward for twenty years. The difference shows up long after the policy is issued.

01

The team

Backgrounds in banking, trading, derivatives, alternative investments and family office management — not insurance distribution alone. Case design, credit, underwriting and client relationships are separate, named disciplines here, each with an owner.

02

The credit infrastructure

Direct relationships across the lender market and long-standing committed facilities under management. Every structure is shopped against the whole market, so pricing reflects competition rather than convenience.

03

The technology

We built our own operating platform: policy, loan and market data in one system, with performance reporting generated from the underlying records rather than reassembled by hand each year. Clients see the same numbers we do.

04

The backing

Independent in judgment, institutional in reach. As part of Simplicity and a Lion Street Owner-Firm, we have open architecture, no proprietary products to defend, and the scale of a national platform behind a boutique relationship.

See how an engagement actually runs

How an engagement runs

Four stages, one team, no handoffs

  • Discovery
  • Design
  • Placement
  • Stewardship
Stage 01

Discovery

We start with the balance sheet and the objective, not a product. What is illiquid, what is at risk, what has to survive a transition — and whether insurance is genuinely the right instrument. If it is not, we will say so before anyone has spent money finding out.

Stage 02

Design

Conservative modelling first. We stress the structure before we present it, so the expectations set at the outset are the ones the plan can actually carry. An illustration that only works in its best case is not a plan, it is a brochure.

Stage 03

Placement

Underwriting, carrier negotiation and credit structuring run in parallel under one case manager. The entire lender market is evaluated before terms are recommended, and you see why the recommended structure won.

Stage 04

Stewardship

Annual renewal monitoring, facility good-standing checks, and performance reporting for the life of the structure. This is the part most firms under-resource. It is the part we built a platform for.

The client experience

Your structure, in plain view

Clients receive a Performance Summary Report drawn directly from the policy, loan and market records we maintain — coverage in force, premiums paid, facility standing, crediting to date, and how the structure is tracking against the plan it was built on.

Reports and documents live together in the Passerelle Portal. You see what we see, when we see it, with nothing reassembled for presentation.

What clients can see

Build the bridge

Start with a conversation, not a proposal

Tell us what you are solving for. We will tell you honestly whether this is the right instrument — and if it is not, we will say so.
